Energy Access Ventures attended the gala dinner hosted by Schneider Electric, one of EAV’s limited partners, in Nairobi on 28th July 2017. This event brought together various business and industry leaders, including EAV’s portfolio companies (featured above), to share their common interests in the energy space.
Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric, Jean-Pascal Tricoire, attended the event alongside H.E. Antoine Sivan, French Ambassador to Kenya. Tricoire spoke about the importance of improving and expanding the access to energy for the populations across the continent in this evolving age of digitalisation and decentralised power.
Michael Gera highlighted EAV’s strong partnership with Schneider Electric, a cornerstone investor in supporting the ecosystem for energy access. Emmanuel Beau presented on EAV’s portfolio companies, underlining their innovative technology, business models and social impact.
